Robert Ward, Steve Beran, Dan Miacnik Receive Top Awards
On October 5, The Hall at Local 916 headquarters was, fittingly, where IDOT chose to hand out its annual employee recognition awards for members of Division 6.
Dan Miacnik in the Bureau of Program Development was named the 2009 Engineer of the Year.
Two Pro Techs in the Bureau of Operations were named Employee of the Year – Steve Beran for 2009, and Robert Ward for 2008.
The Division 6 Studies and Plans Section in the Bureau of Program Development was honored as the 2009 Work Unit of the Year. John Negangard accepted the award on behalf of the unit and his co-workers.
